Chief Thriving Officer (CTO)
Bokun Imoukhuede is a family life practitioner, postpartum transition coach, and strength-based coach who empowers mothers, particularly those of African heritage, to reclaim their authentic identities and thrive beyond societal and cultural expectations. She is the Founder of MumsAloud, a thriving community dedicated to supporting BAME mothers through culturally sensitive programs, well-being workshops, and personal development initiatives.
Bokun’s work focuses on addressing the unique challenges Black and minority ethnic mothers face, such as navigating cultural expectations, systemic inequities, and the multifaceted demands of motherhood. Her initiatives, such as the Uplifting Mothers Project, provide tailored support for expectant and new mothers from low-income or benefit-dependent households, helping them build confidence, find balance, and thrive in their motherhood journey.
A visionary leader, Bokun is also the creator of Mama’s Escape Podcast, a transformative space where mums can escape societal labels and embrace their true selves through authentic conversations, practical insights, and empowering stories.
Bokun’s mission extends to advocacy and education through engaging workshops, impactful webinars, and her signature coaching programs like Chaos to Calm, designed to help mothers reconnect with their purpose and thrive without overwhelm.
As a speaker and advocate, Bokun has collaborated with healthcare professionals, community leaders, and organizations to amplify the voices of BAME mothers, promoting equity, support, and change in maternal care and beyond. Through her work, Bokun continues to be a beacon of inspiration, bridging the gap between the lived experiences of mothers and the systems that serve them.
Bokun’s compassionate approach, rooted in her personal motherhood journey, has established her as a trusted and leading voice in redefining motherhood as a role—not the totality of a woman’s identity—while empowering mothers to thrive unapologetically.
Engagement Manager
Meet Yemi Komolafe, a mother of 3 lovely children and a passionate community advocate. While I work as a Compliance Officer, my true passion lies in empowering individuals and fostering strong communities. I am particularly passionate about Black maternal health and postpartum care, driving my advocacy for Black mothers to thrive and enjoy motherhood. I believe deeply in the interconnectedness of our lives, echoing the wisdom that “no man can become rich without himself enriching others.” Many refer to me as the “life of the party” or the “chief plug” because if you’re looking for anything, I likely know how to connect you with the right people or resources.”
